Cook, Sip, and Pass the Cheer With These Holiday Recipes

Two Holiday Recipes Guaranteed to Lift Your Spirits

The holidays are here and it’s time for food-fueled, drink-filled gatherings with friends, family, and co-workers. Here at OOKA, we especially love this season, as it’s the perfect excuse to come together and pass some cheer – whether you’re enjoying our new, ultra-delicious Berry Pie infused pods or trying out one of the recipes below. This year, we’re all about Mindful Consumption, and we hope this inspires you to enjoy a holiday season that’s blissed-out, stress-free, and filled with high spirits.

We know everyone has their standbys, staples, and traditions – which are obviously great – but if you’re ready to spice things up a bit, you’re in the right place. We’ve partnered with our friends at Big Bad Wolf and Dope Kitchen to create two special (and failproof) recipes: a vibrant non-alcoholic elixir and a sweet-and-buttery berry cobbler, which you can practically make with your eyes closed.

Big Bad Wolf OOKA

First up is the “Blackberry Bliss” mocktail crafted with Big Bad Wolf. As we all know, going NA around the holidays can be tough (soda water again?), but this recipe is refreshing, beautiful, and sure to become your new favorite. To celebrate this special cocktail, we recently hosted a special evening with Big Bad Wolf filled with elevated food and drinks – including this incredible mocktail. Check out the recipe below and shake up some fun.

Blackberry Bliss

1oz blackberry puree

1 oz agave

1oz fresh blood orange juice

Top with elderflower tonic

Thyme for garnish

  1. Combine all ingredients with ice in a shaker
  2. Shake well
  3. Strain into a coupe
  4. Garnish
  5. Enjoy!

Dope Kitchen OOKA holiday recipes

Next up is the Air Fryer Berry Cobbler created by Dope Kitchen. Combining bright, juicy berries with rich, buttery textures, this is the kind of dessert that begs for seconds (and maybe thirds). Best of all, it’s super easy to make and it works for any occasion – and it’s also a great substitute for the same old pies that hit the table every year. We love it topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, but it’s also perfect on its own.

Air Fryer Berry Cobbler

1 cup frozen mixed berries

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1 tbsp sugar

3/4 cup flour

1/3 cup sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

3/4 cup milk

1/2 cup butter, melted

  1. Place berries in an air fryer-safe bowl and add lemon juice and sugar. Toss.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk. Pour the batter directly on top of the berries. Pour melted butter on top of batter.
  3. Cook in air fryer at 320°F for 20 minutes.

We hope these recipes inspire you to try something new this season and spread a little extra joy around the table or at your next party. Who knows, these might become your next holiday traditions for years to come! And if you’re looking for the ultimate holiday experience, make sure to stock up on our newest infused pods (while supplies last). Here’s to a happier, higher holiday.
